  16.   I have a little project in mind for all us A1200 owners out there.  It 
  17. involves the 3.1 ROM chip.  As some of you may or may not know, the 3.1 
  18. ROM can be used in the A1200, but there is a nasty rumor that it drops 
  19. PCMCIA support.

  21.   However, you gain some additional CD-ROM support, and a couple of 
  22. additions, and bug-fixes to the 3.0 ROM...  Now, I have a question.

  24.   Would it be worth it to you to have some sort of "ROM Switcher" like 
  25. the ones made for the A500/A2000 in the days of 1.3/2.0?  I'd really like 
  26. some feedback on this - whether you think such a device would be useful, 
  27. and whether the 3.1 has benefits enough to warrant it.
