- I have a little project in mind for all us A1200 owners out there. It
- involves the 3.1 ROM chip. As some of you may or may not know, the 3.1
- ROM can be used in the A1200, but there is a nasty rumor that it drops
- PCMCIA support.

- However, you gain some additional CD-ROM support, and a couple of
- additions, and bug-fixes to the 3.0 ROM... Now, I have a question.

- Would it be worth it to you to have some sort of "ROM Switcher" like
- the ones made for the A500/A2000 in the days of 1.3/2.0? I'd really like
- some feedback on this - whether you think such a device would be useful,
- and whether the 3.1 has benefits enough to warrant it.
